Resident of St. Petersburg, MO. Dr. Peter Robinson, 54, died Tuesday April 14, 1844 in the cemetery.
A funeral service was held the following Thursday, at the local Church in St. Petersburg. He will be buried at the St. Petersburg Cemetery.
Dr. Peter Robinson was born May 23, 1790, in St. Petersburg, MO., to Harry R. and Mary Lou F. (Mason) Robinson.
He was one of the first students to attend St. Louis University. He graduated at the age of 33. He married Julia Freedman on July 21, 1811, in St. Petersburg, she survives. Together he and Julia had three sons, Peter Robinson Jr., Richard Robinson, and James Robinson; all three survive him. His son Peter is currently studying medicine as well and plans to take over his practice when he graduates.
He moved to St. Louis to attend school for a short time. He moved back to St. Petersburg upon graduation, and became the local doctor. He had a successful practice and was interested in performing his own studies. He lived in St. Petersburg for over 45 years, and served as mayor for a short time.
Dr. Peter Robinson will be greatly missed in the community of St. Petersburg.

E. A. Price died at five o'clock on the evening of the 13th inst. of the residence of his parents in this city, in the fortieth year of his age. The deceased has been afflicted for some years, with that fell disease, consumption, but he bore his suffering with great patience. He has spent several years on different steamboats, as Mate; and perhaps there contracted a cold that ripened into consumption. Mr. Price was a model citizen in all the relations of life was respected by all who knew him, and a stricken father, mother, brother and sister, with a large circle of friends, mourn their irreparable loss. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 1 o'clock, from the M.E. Church, Ohio street, and the friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend without further notice.
